What is truly unique to true religion? The truth is that salvation is by-faith not by-works. This truth Paul makes clear in Romans 9.32 when he says... Why? Because they [Israel] did not pursue it [salvation] by faith, but as though it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone [Jesus]. Even though many religions teach both faith and works are important, it is not a minor point that only faith saves but a dividing point in God's plan of salvation. This study explores why.
