In Part 3 of our Introduction to Romans 9-11, the following question is proposed and examined. If Jesus was truly the promised Messiah, if He was God incarnated in man, if Jesus did die at Calvary and was resurrected the third day for the sins of the world, and if the curses for sin and the blessings for obedience of Deuteronomy 28-30 are true, would it then not follow that the rejection and crucifixion of the Messiah by Israel, God’s chosen people, would be followed by the most extreme judgment by God?
