The wisdom of Romans 12.17 and following is never to payback evil for evil. Really? The first thing most people would think is that the proposed wisdom of Romans 12.17-21 is ridiculous and doesn’t make any practical sense at all. Why would you allow others to offend and hurt you without payback? The world’s way has not been all that great, right? Billions of people killed, crippled, unimaginable pain and suffering, a world of unhappiness. Yea, I can see now how God’s way would not be superior to Satan’s way, right? I don’t think so.
