This study is all about an adviser to King David who as his right hand man turns on him to follow David's son Absalom who attempts a coup and whom Ahithophel wishes to personally kill himself.
This story is a story of ancient bitterness which ends up costing Ahithophel everything, even his own life by way of suicide.
