Have you ever really pondered the response Cain gives God when asked where is his brother Abel? Cain provides a nasty response to the Creator of all by rudely asking, "Am I my brother's keeper?" I suppose if one was so callous to murder his own innocent brother for no good reason, a response as such should not catch us off guard. But did you ever noticed though that the Lord doesn't answer Cain in Genesis 4? Well I have some good news! He does answer the question thousands of years later in our current Romans passage. And boy does God lay it out. This insightful passage provides six wonderful ways you can be your brother's keeper. But get this, caring for and being a keeper of others has a ricocheting effect in that it is a key component of your own happiness.
